Milan is an MBA Nonprofit graduate from King’s College and also holds a Master’s degree in Social Work. He has a keen interest in organizational development, education innovation, impact investment and social entrepreneurship. He believes that quality education, innovation, and entrepreneurship can help communities transform.

He is an aspiring social entrepreneur and has co-founded various startups with the vision of community empowerment and capacity building. He has been volunteering and associated with different nonprofit organizations based inside and outside Nepal in various capacities since 2015. He is a Teach for Nepal Alumnus, European Forum Alpbach scholar 2020 & 2021, UPG Sustainability Leader 2021, Teach For All Global Girls Education Fellow 2017-18, Teach For All Leading from Lived Experiences Fellow 2019, and Ambassador & Advisory Board Member for HundrEd.org.

He has involved in various consulting projects for different organizations and institutions. He is currently leading an NGO, Himalayan Development Initiative which is committed to providing quality education to the children of Upper Dolpa.
